Star & Sun Tee

Every sun is a star, but not every star is a sun. A star and a sun are symbols of Texas and Japan, respectively. This design hopes to unite the two flags of these places that contain these related symbols. A star and a sun can be one and the same, even though we think of them as different entities. The attempt to merge these two symbols of two cultures is done in the interest of trying to remind us that across all seemingly disparate cultures, we should recognize similarities while also acknowledging and celebrating what makes both unique.
