From the artist: This past Christmas, I had a chance to experience traditional Mexican food for holiday seasons surrounded by a Mexican family. There were a young lady, her mother, and her aunt. When I spent time with them, I felt each woman had different experiences in life, but they all seemed to have their elegance and resilience. I wanted to paint their beauty with watercolor.
